The ECE Showcase will again take place at Worcester State University at 486 Chandler St. Worcester, MA. The event will run on Sunday, December 14th, from 2:00-7:00 pm.

Preliminary Schedule

ADMISSIONS:

  • Admissions & doors open at 1:00 pm. FYI…the entrance hallway is small, so if you arrive early, the admission lines will be outside in the cold. The first team’s meet time is 1:00 pm. 
  • Please be sure your child is dressed and ready, as there is no room in the lobby to get them ready & parents are not permitted in the meet rooms. UNH cheerleader chaperones will escort the athletes to their teams.
  • Admissions is $20 at the door, children 4 & under are FREE. We will offer a discounted admission rate of $15 for Seniors over 60, veterans & serving military personnel with a valid ID (one admission per ID).
  • Only cash will be accepted.  There is no ATM on the premises.

VIDEOTAPING:

  • You can absolutely video your child, but from your seat only. Parents will not be allowed near the mat during performances, only the coaches & staff.
  • Please DO NOT post videos on any social media sites, as our routines are still not 100% competition ready.  This event gives the coaches an idea of what parts of the routine may need to be fine tuned. It also gives our friends and families an opportunity to come and support all of our teams from CT, MA & NH. Some teams may be leaving out a portion of their routine or may need a coach to fill in for some spots.

SEATING:

There will be:

  • Floor level side-view
  • Limited floor level front-view, behind the coaches’ seating
  • Elevated front-view and side-view, standing, only, area

Parents and spectators are NOT allowed to walk around the mat during performances, as it is extremely distracting.

FLOWERS:

  • The Worcester State University cheerleaders will be selling flower bouquets, available throughout the day, for your purchase.

ECE PRO SHOP:

  •     The ECE pro-shop will be in the elevated section with BRAND NEW ITEMS!! Admission is required to access the Pro Shop. 

HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Ahead of their performances at Cheersport, Black Diamonds, Bomb Squad & Fame are helping St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital by selling tickets for three scratch ticket raffles. They will be on the upper level near the Pro Shop and they’d appreciate your support.

PARKING:

  • Parking is available in parking lots around the building. Please be sure you do not leave any bags or valuables visible! 

FUN ADDITION:

  • The UNH All Girl & CoEd teams will each exhibition during the Showcase

CONCESSIONS:

  • WSU has a concessions area in the main entrance hallway, near admissions. No outside food is permitted.

LASTLY:

  • We have been known to run off schedule, slightly.  The listed times are an approximation, so please allow for up to ten minutes before/after scheduled times.
  • There will be a QR code of the event schedule available at the event, but feel free to print off your own schedule if you prefer a printed copy.

(supporting other teams before and after yours is encouraged & appreciated, but please reference the event schedule to ensure your child meets their team at the assigned time, dressed in full hair & make-up. The meeting area is on the upper level. Parents may only drop off their child at the hallway/stairwell entrance of the meeting area, due to space constraints).
